The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of characters, and a gripping narrative featuring angels, demons, and malevolent powers growing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the latest installment of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of heroes who will branch out from the main group to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the outset that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, weaving together the personal journeys before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Planners, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might seem out of place, but the developments of the latest installment show why these five characters are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the group has a clear idea where to go next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—exploited the foes for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each member has a individual motive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the companion and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
  • The adventurer knows the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill the fighter and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their position as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the team reach locations they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This means them no alternative but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.

Future Episodes

According to the recent installment’s post-show segment, we discover that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Seekers and Schemers tables.

Audiences can look forward to finding out which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, released on next week.
